La Maison du Chocolat’s creative director Gilles Marchal will be giving a three-hour Easter chocolate workshop at Ecole Ritz Escoffier culinary school in Paris.
Two sessions of this hands-on event, called Extrême Chocolat, will be offered: Sunday March 27 or Sunday April 10, from 10 a.m to 1 p.m.
Participants will learn tips and tricks for working with chocolate molds and fillings plus decorating techniques for making chocolate and praline Easter eggs.
Master chocolatier and pastry chef Gilles Marchal previously created luxury desserts for Paris’s Crillon, Plaza Athénée and Le Bristol hotels before joining La Maison du Chocolat in 2006.
