Chocorico! (Choc-a-doodle-do!), La Maison du Chocolat‘s Easter collection, features not just yummy chocolate eggs and chocolate hens, but a scrumptious chocolate henhouse as well.
Under the supervision of creative director Gilles Marchal, the company’s chocolatier-artists have handcrafted this playful collection of chocolate figurines with plenty of care and attention to detail.
From the tiny bits of chocolate used for the birds’ eyes and beaks, to the grain of the chocolate woodwork and the texture of the “beaten earth” floor, every last detail has been meticulously crafted by hand.
Chococoq (dark chocolate) and Chococotte (milk chocolate) each come with an assortment of smooth and crunchy praliné chocolate eggs. (15 cm, 240 grams)
Les Cocottes is mostly milk chocolate, but also features dark chocolate and white chocolate. This assortment includes four crunchy praliné eggs, a smooth praliné-filled egg, a “sunny side up”chocolate egg plus 16 praliné filled eggs. (30 cm, 680 grams)
The limited edition Chocorico! henhouse is entirely made of chocolate. It features dark, milk and white chocolate pieces, including no less than 30 crunchy praliné eggs, large smooth praliné-filled eggs, seven “sunny side up” chocolate eggs as well as dozens of smaller eggs with either almond or praliné fillings.
