Un Dimanche à Paris: More chocolate and pastry workshops

Want to learn how to make Parisian macarons or delicious hand-dipped chocolates? Here’s a chance to learn at one of Paris’s top chocolate and pastry shops.

Un Dimanche à Paris is offering two hands-on workshops in the coming weeks, a chocolate-making class and a macaron class.

These two-hour evening sessions involve preparation an entire recipe from scratch under the guidance of a chef. Class size is limited to 12 participants.

  • May 20, 2014: Chocolate-making workshop: Learn to make orangettes (chocolate-covered candied orange peel), hand-dipped chocolates, mendiants and chocolate lollipops
  • July 1, 2014: Pastry workshop: Learn to make macarons

Founded by chocolatier Pierre Cluizel, Un Dimanche à Paris is located in the historic Cour du Commerce Saint-André (6th arr.). The place is a one-stop chocolate shop that features a chocolate shop, chocolate bar, restaurant, “salon de chocolat” and chocolate lounge as well as a large kitchen for workshops and other events.
