Former head pastry chef at the Grand Hôtel Intercontinental and the Café de la Paix, Carl Marletti opened his pastry shop in the heart of the Mouffetard-Saint Médard neighbourhood in 2007.
His chocolate pastries are stunning: Le dome noir, a dark chocolate mousse with a creamy vanilla centre over a hazelnut sponge base; Le Censier, a “quenelle of dark chocolate” atop a crispy praliné base; or the classic tarte au chocolat praliné are all a must for chocolate lovers.
The macarons here come in both regular and large sizes.
