Jean-Charles Rochoux
Jean-Charles Rochoux’s cosy chocolate shop has been open in Paris’s 6th arrondissement since 2004.
His amazing array of flavour-infused bonbons, truffles, chocolate-dipped seasonal, fruit and intricate chocolate sculptures are a feast for the eyes and palate and have earned him a following of loyal fans.
Mr. Rochoux makes all of his chocolates and sculptures in his chocolate laboratoire, located beneath the shop.
Before opening his own store, Mr. Rochoux apprenticed at La Petite Chocolatière (15th arr.), then worked as a dessert chef at the famous Guy Savoy restaurant, followed by a stint with renowned chocolatier Michel Chaudun.
Speciality: chocolate-dipped fresh fruit pieces, chocolate sculptures
