As part of its fall collection, La Maison du Chocolat has introduced a new single-origin dark chocolate mousse.
Head chocolatier Nicolas Cloiseau has created a light, yet lusciously intense chocolate dessert made with 100-per-cent Peruvian chocolate known for its fresh taste and delicate notes of black fruits.
Aptly named “mousse de choc,” the new chocolate mousse features sabayon, whipped cream and a layer of soft meringue topped with dark chocolate ganache and chocolate shavings.
Available at La Maison du Chocolat, 225, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and other locations in Paris.
