Stéphane Secco

Stéphane Secco took over Jean-Luc Poujauran’s slightly rustic, bright pink boulangerie on rue Jean Nicot in 2003.

Shortly thereafter, Chef Secco, a former head pastry chef at the Costes group (Café Marly, Le Coq, l’Esplanade, La Grande Armée), added a pâtisserie section.

The pastries on offer at Chef Secco’s shop range from classics such as eclairs, macarons, mille-feuilles, and fruit tarts, to his seasonal house specialities.

For example, he makes a delicious chocolate tart consisting of a sweet cocoa sablé crust and a smooth ganache filling, and a zero per cent fat cheesecake flavoured with a hint of lime and vanilla.

Stéphane Secco previously made pastries for renowned chocolatier Christian Constant, where his creations were served at museums, government ministries, and even at the Elysée Palace.
