Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie – European Cup 2020

This year’s European Pastry Cup segment of the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie will be hosted in Paris for the first time ever, at the Europain bakery and pastry trade show taking place from January 11-14, 2020 at Porte de Versailles Exhibition Hall 1.

The pastry competition takes place on January 12 & 13, 2020. Eight teams selected from across Europe and comprised of a chocolate artist, a dessert specialist and an ice cream expert will compete for a spot at the World Finals in Lyon in 2021.  

Founded by pastry chef Gabriel Paillasson in 1989, the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie is an international pastry competition that takes place in France every two years. Past winners include Pierre Marcolini (1995) Christophe Michalak (2005) and Jérôme Oliveira (2009). Pierre Hermé has officiated as president of the competition since September 2019.
