Un Dimanche à Paris: Pierre Cluizel’s chocolate dream store

Chocolatier Pierre Cluizel has just opened his first chocolate “concept store” in the heart of Paris’s Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.

Located in the historic Cour du Commerce Saint-André at the base of the ancient 13th-century city walls built by Philippe Auguste, the brand new, 800-square metre store features a chocolate shop, pâtisserie, bar, restaurant, lounge and chocolate salon all under the same roof.

In addition to gourmet chocolates, hot chocolate and pastries, chocolate lovers can indulge in full-course chocolate cuisine meals!

And yes, there are even chocolate and pastry workshops for those who want to take chocolate classes.

Pierre Cluizel is the son of Michel Cluizel, one of France’s most well-known chocolatiers.

Un Dimanche à Paris, which  means “A Sunday in Paris,”  is open seven days a week (detailed hours below).

  1. This is so unbelievably awesome, I am a huge fan of Michel Cluizel chocolate and am coming to visit Paris in the late spring.

We will be there with bells on, probably multiple times.

  2. Open or closed in August? I can’t find the information anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

  3. Hello Carol,
Best would be to contact the store directly via their website at http://www.un-dimanche-a-paris.com/. There is a contact form you can use.
