Master chocolatier Christian Constant (not to be confused with the Parisian chef and restaurant owner of the same name) has been selling his exotic chocolate treats to delighted Parisians since 1970. His is one of the most respected names in Paris’s mouth-watering world of chocolate.
Constant travels the world to source the finest ingredients from places such as Venezuela, Ecuador and Colombia.
His rue d’Assas boutique is an inviting, unpretentious place where visitors can admire an impressive assortment of hand-made chocolate confections infused with subtle and refined scents such as orange blossom, jasmine, cardamom, verveine or ylang-ylang blossoms.
Adjacent to the store is a salon where one can enjoy a selection of sandwiches, salads, a hot plat du jour and the master’s exquisite pastries.
Hot chocolate is, of course, on the menu and reputed to be among the best in Paris.
