Chocolate Fondue

A deliciously decadent dessert that’s easy to make and sure to please.

Preparation time: 15 minutes
Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 200 grams (7 ounces) bitter-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 85 ml (1/3 cup) light cream (18 per cent butter fat)
  • 3 tablespoons liqueur (optional)
  • Assorted pieces of fresh fruit

Directions

  1. Place the chocolate pieces and cream in a saucepan over low heat and stir until completely melted and smooth.
  2. Add liqueur and stir well. If liqueur is omitted, stir in an additional 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of cream.
  3. Pour into a serving dish or fondue pot.
  4. Serve with fresh fruit.
