Delicious crunchy chocolate chip cookies with just a hint of cinnamon.
Yield: 2 ½ to 3 dozen cookies

Ingredients
- ¾ cup brown sugar, packed
- ½ cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup flour
- ¾ cup quick oats
- ½ cup sunflower seeds
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C (350 degrees F).
- Place brown sugar, shortening, egg, salt, baking soda and cinnamon in food processor and mix well.
- Add remaining ingredients and pulse until thoroughly mixed.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking trays.
- Bake for about 14 to 16 minutes.
