Hors des Sentiers Battus, which means “off the beaten path” in English, is a convivial little chocolate shop that sells artisanal chocolates and confections from around France.

For example, they sell chocolates from Anjou, nougats from Montélimar, salted caramels from Brittany, calissons from Provence and much more.

The company was founded in 1995 by some young Parisians who wanted to make France’s sweet regional specialities available to Parisians in an inviting, non-pretentious environment, something they do very well.
