This combination pâtisserie, traiteur and chocolatier is known for its splendid cakes and pastries, tiny works of edible art that are said to be the best in the neighbourhood.
Pastry chef and chocolatier Jean-Pierre Thuillier previously worked for Dalloyau.
His specialities include Le Royal, a bittersweet chocolate mousse and almond-based meringue on a crispy praliné base, and macarons glacés (macarons filled with sorbet or ice cream).
Le Triomphe does not sell bread, but Chef Thuillier makes some excellent croissants and pains au chocolat as well as delicious artisanal chocolates.
