One of France’s most renowned pastry chefs and chocolatiers, Yves Thuriès opened his first shop in Gaillac (Tarn department) in 1968.
In 1976 he was awarded the distinction of Meilleur Ouvrier de France, not once, but twice, as pâtissier and as chocolatier and glacier (ice cream maker).
Author of several definitive books on French pastry and chocolate, Chef Thuriès is widely regarded as one of France’s top culinary masters.
Today based in Cordes-sur-Ciel (Tarn), Chef Thuriès has a chocolate shop in Paris’s 2nd arrondissement. His chocolates are sold throughout France and in countries around the world.
