From Friday, April 2 to Sunday, May 16, 2010, ten tables splendidly decorated by
20 of France’s top chocolatiers will be on display at the Château de Breteuil, located in the Yvelines department, just outside of Paris.
Traditional symbols of Easter such as chocolate eggs, rabbits, bells and hens will be featured alongside some more unusual and surprising chocolate creations laid out on gorgeous damask table linens.
Expect to see fabulous creations by Abanico, Maison Boissier, Patrice Chapon, Hélène Colas, Christian Constant, Franck Daubos, Jean-Paul Hévin, Michel Huvelin, Le Cacaotier, Le Furet Tanrade, Pascal Le Gac, Henri Le Roux, Jérôme Lepinay, François Pralus, Chocolaterie de Puyricard, Michel Richart, Patrick Roger, Fabien Rouillard and Jean-Marc Scribante.
A chocolate Easter egg hunt will be held in the Château’s gardens on April 4 and 5 from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Chateau de Breteuil, built in the late 1500s, is located 35 km south-west of Paris, between Versailles and Rambouillet, in the Vallée de Chevreuse.
